Hello everybody, hope you are having an incredible day today. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a special dish, methi chicken. One of my favorites. This time, I will make it a bit unique. This is gonna smell and look delicious.

Methi Chicken is one of the most popular of recent trending foods on earth. It’s simple, it is fast, it tastes delicious. It’s enjoyed by millions every day. Methi Chicken is something which I’ve loved my whole life. They are fine and they look wonderful.

To get started with this particular recipe, we must first prepare a few components. You can have methi chicken using 13 ingredients and 5 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Methi Chicken:
  1. Take Chicken, cut, clean, washed and drained
  2. Take ginger garlic paste
  3. Prepare medium Onions sliced
  4. Get tomatoes chopped
  5. Get packed Methi/ Fenugreek leaves – you can add more or less as per your preference
  6. Prepare green chillies slit
  7. Get turmeric powder
  8. Make ready red chilli powder (as per your taste)
  9. Take Coriander powder
  10. Take garam masala
  11. Make ready oil
  12. Take Salt
  13. Make ready curry leaves
Instructions to make Methi Chicken:
  1. Clean and wash the chicken thoroughly and drain the water. Wash Methi leaves and keep aside. - Marinate the chicken with ginger-garlic paste and a little salt for half an hour
  2. Heat oil in a pressure pan. Add sliced onions and chillies and fry till the onions turn pink. - Add the marinated chicken and mix well. - Cover and cook for few minutes, stirring occasionally, till the chicken loses it's rawness..
  3. Add Methi leaves, chopped tomatoes, mix and let it cook for few minutes.Add turmeric, chilli powder, dhania powder, salt and ½ cup water. Mix well. Cover and pressure cook for 3 whistles. Let it rest for a while.
  4. Open lid, add curry leaves, garam masala and salt if necessary. - Mix and cover and cook on sim for 5 minutes or till the oil seperates.
  5. Serve hot with Bagara rice / Rotis and Naans
