  15. Make ready 5 Small Cinnamon Sticks
  16. Take Few Black Pepper Corns
  17. Get 4 Bay Leaves
  18. Take 1 tsp Sprinkled Cumin Seeds
Steps to make Indian Style Pilau (Chicken with Rice):
  1. Wash and cut your chicken.
  2. Then grate your tomatoes and cut and half your potatoes.
  3. Next, in your pot add in your oil, chopped onions and aromatics.
  4. Once onions are cooked and browned, add in your Chicken and your ginger and garlic paste. Cook chicken till slightly tender.
  5. Then add in your potatoes and tomatoes along with your spices and Chillie. Top with a cup and half of Water and a low to cook until potatoes are soft.
  6. Once your (curry) is done add in your washed and strained rice, can be cooked or uncooked.
  7. Once you've added in your rice, stir in slowly and leave on medium - low heat and allow to steam.
  8. Serve with topped fresh coriander and homemade pickles with dhai (sour milk with green Chillie paste, lemon juice and salt).
